Creative Printing For An Invite to Any Event

When planning for a special event, some people often forget a very key aspect… The invitations!

If you want to plan a memorable and fun event from start to finish, it starts with printing and designing invitations. The first presentation of your invite will set the tone for the entire party. Just from a well-designed invitation, someone will be able to tell the theme of the party, exactly when/where it is, color schemes to be aware of, what to wear, and more.

Whether you are planning a baby shower, corporate event, or anything in-between, Creative Printing is here to help your special day start properly.

Baby Showers

The time is almost here – to announce to your family, friends, and loved ones that you are expecting a new baby! Baby showers can be a memorable occasion where everyone gets together to celebrate the birth of a new baby boy or girl and help the parents prepare for the next big step in their lives. With something that important, the invitations should be just as significant and reflect your baby shower as a whole.

But what should a baby shower invitation include? Invites can be themed to the baby’s gender to help people decide what to bring. If you want to keep the gender a surprise, you can incorporate that into the invite and have your baby shower double as a gender reveal party.

If you want your baby shower to revolve around a certain theme, make sure to display that in your baby shower invitations. It could be a colored theme like blue for a boy and pink for a girl, or you could get a little more creative. You could theme your party on something that you enjoy and hope to also help your child enjoy someday. Decorate your card with animals, succulents, rainbows, camping supplies, or anything else you are looking forward to your new baby discovering a passion for.

Either way, you are going to want to include the parent’s name, the baby’s name (if you have picked one already), the date, location, and how to RSVP to the event. Make sure this information is easy to read, but have fun incorporating it into whatever theme you choose.

If you have a gift registry set up, put a QR code on the invites so that people can just go directly to the registry website after receiving your invitation.

Bridal Showers

Bridal showers are a way for people to come together and show their love and support for the bride. It’s a fun way for the bride to celebrate the next journey in their life before the big wedding day. Bridal showers can be more relaxed than a traditional wedding, so it’s up to you to decide where you want your event to be and what you want to do. Just make sure to incorporate all aspects of the party in your bridal shower invitation.

To start off, include the bride’s name on the invitation. You can also include the bride’s partner. If you are having a more traditional bridal party and are only inviting women, include this information somewhere on the invitation so others are aware.

Next, include the date, time, and location of the event. The fonts should be easy to read so there is no confusion. Let people know if they need to RSVP and how to do so. It isn’t uncommon for bridal parties’ invitations to have a gift registry, even if it is the same as the wedding.

Try theming your card around what you will be doing for the bridal shower. You could be going to brunch with champagne and decide you want to put fun graphics on the bridal shower invites or it could just be a relaxing evening at home with your friends and have a girl’s night in theme with pictures of your favorite movies and games.

Corporate Events

Corporate event invitations are just as important as any other invitation. The presentation of the card should set the tone for the event, so think of what type of event you are throwing beforehand.

If you are having a fancy charity dinner, the invitation should reflect the same level of professionalism as the dinner. Fonts can help with this, choose a font that looks professional but is still legible and won’t be confusing for anybody. For example, using roman numerals may seem fine to you, but confusing to some of your guests. Make sure everyone is on the same page with the information you are providing by making your font type and size appropriate.

The corporate event invitation should also have the location, date, and time. Just like every other invitation, spell-check everything before printing the design. Check the address of the event beforehand to make sure it is correct and navigates the guests to the right place when entering it into Google Maps. Since corporate events often have a dress code, let your guest know what type of attire they should wear and make it as clear as possible.

The presentation of your invite also comes in the form of an envelope. Try theming your envelope to match the colors and style of the invitation inside.

Children’s Birthday Parties

As a kid, nothing is more exciting than having a birthday party. Planning for the big day can be just as fun as the day itself. You have to pick balloons, a cake, a theme, and most importantly, the birthday party invitation.

Kids love sending and receiving mail, it doesn’t get to happen too often and when it does it’s very exciting. So, you want to make sure to spread that joy to your child’s friends when they receive the perfect birthday invite.

But what should be on a kid’s birthday party invitation? The name and age of the child should be the main aspect, it’s their time to shine! Make sure to include any special milestones, like their very first birthday, golden birthday, or finally hitting double digits. Now put the location of the party and what time it will take place. For children’s birthday invites, it’s important to also put the end time of the party. That way other parents can plan accordingly and be ready to pick up their kids when the party is over.

Ordering food for so many kids can be tough, especially if you don’t know how many people are coming to a party. Include a way to RSVP and a date to do it by to keep your mind at ease.

As for the theme of the card, let your child decide! It could be their most recent obsession or a longtime hobby of theirs. Themes can include wild animals, outer space, the wild west, a magical kingdom, and everything else in between. The more graphics and colors for other kids to enjoy looking at the better. Their imagination is the limit and whatever they think up of, Creative Printing can print it.
